RAL K7 Colour Palette

RAL is a colour matching system created in the 1920’s that standardized colour for paint, coatings and plastics.

RAL allowed craftspeople and manufacturers of all types to seamlessly communicate colour between clients. It remains the standard over 100 years later with revisions in 1961 and most recently 2020.

The RAL standard is admini­strated by the RAL Deutsches Institut für Güte­siche­rung und Kenn­zeich­nung, located in Bonn (Germany).
